Bonjour, Paris!

Bonjour, Paris!

There's no better entry to succeed my previous post, than a new write-up about when I went back to Paris!

Yup! Years had passed. A lot of things had changed. I seldom had the time to write a post, but now I'm gonna try to update this blog little by little.

So yes! I was, indeed, able to go on a Euro trip again. This time, my itinerary included the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and The Netherlands. This trip, I must say, is one for the books! We went there and planned each destination as we went along. The most spontaneous trip yet! I must say that it was indeed super fun! Just enjoying every moment, not thinking about anything but the present, then just booking and jumping on a trip to another country on the last day in the previous one. Thanks to Google, which helped us during the entire trip. Haha!

This entry is only about bits of our trip to Paris though. I'll write other entries for the other parts of our trip.

Oui, Paris!

I never thought that I'd be able to go back so soon!

Arc de Triomphe

The Eiffel Tower at night

The last time I went there, I was able to see the Eiffel Tower during the day and there were tons of tourists everywhere. I never knew how much more spectacular it looked at night, until this trip. We even got to see it sparkle.

Sparkling Eiffel Tower. How can you not fall in love?
So we hung out a bit near the area and stared at the Eiffel Tower for quite sometime. Just savoring each and every moment, hanging out with each other and admiring the beautiful scenery.

Of course, I can't go to Paris and not go shopping!

It was just timely that the week we went there was exactly the time when there was an on-going Winter Sale! Lucky Me! Believe me, I didn't plan it! It was just meant to be! Hahaha! I'm so lucky!

So yes, we dropped by my favourite department store in Paris, which is the Galeries Lafayette. This must be my favourite too out of all the department stores in the world that I've been to! Not that I've been to a lot of countries, but still. I don't even mind going there just to hangout without buying anything at all! The architectural and interior design are just so amazing! Just see for yourself!

And of course!
There was a lot of dainty sunglasses too!
One of the landmarks near our place in Paris was the Sacré-Cœur. It was just walking distance from our place so we decided to check it out as well. The view going up and even while there was breathtaking. Also, for some reason, I noticed that everything seems to look more alive and amazing at night, compared to at daytime. Haha!

The steep steps going up was worth it!
Another one that is a definite must-see, aside from the Eiffel Tower is of course, the Louvre Museum. This was my second time to visit the place.

Museum tickets as souvenir.
The Louvre Museum was a pretty huge place. We didn't get to walk through the entire museum as our feet were aching already from all the walking we have done around Paris. I was still at awe at every artwork and artifacts that I have seen. History is truly interesting. Humans are definitely gifted beings!

Great Sphinx of Tanis
I will always love Paris! Next time, I shall visit the other parts of France, but of course, only after going to Paris. I'll definitely make sure to go during the Sales Season too! Haha!

Au Revoir!
